I love that kids have 0 concept of homophobia or gendered shit until they’re taught it. for example today one of my preschoolers was playing house with his best friend (also a boy). usually he plays the baby and his friend is the dad but today he said “actually today there’s gonna be two dads cause I wanna be one too so we have to get married” and later decided he wanted a princess dress with wings. this is the same kid that loves tmnt and green and everything “boyish”. gender and gender stereotypes literally don’t exist until it’s taught.
